“The weak can never forgive.Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” – Mahatma Gandhi.
Beautiful words, aren’t they ?
Infact , here in India , a holy event & a festival of forgiveness called Paryushana is being celebrated every year. Right now , it’s underway ( from 7th September to 14 th September )
So Let’s share our thoughts on & celebrate Forgiveness : https://insideoutwithrahulyuvi.com/2018/09/09/celebrating-forgiveness/
why is it sometimes so hard to get “out of our heads”? … to “just think good thoughts”? … because we are wired to seek what is familiar, and sometimes those damn thoughts have been playing on a loop for years, decades…there is safety in familiar. But there is freedom in choice. Choosing to change your thinking, change your story. Choosing to BE Love. Choosing to DO life with full abandon, engaged and with light.
Love the beautiful picture and the quote on forgiveness – do it not for them, but to set yourself free 🙂

We may think it is for the one we forgive but in the end, we cut our own chains.

We can still love them although we do not love what they are doing. 💜

That is such a great way to put it, Gail. May I ask you to quote you with this again?

If we don’t forgive, they continue to control and manipulate our feelings. 👀🍃

I find forgiveness very hard and the quotation is so right – it is only hard on me.

I’m not going to lie. Some days it takes tremendous effort to forgive. 🌷
