“A career is like a house; it’s made of many bricks, and each brick has the same value, because without any one of them, the house would collapse.”~ Andrea Bocelli
Building Blocks of Time
“A career is like a house; it’s made of many bricks, and each brick has the same value, because without any one of them, the house would collapse.”~ Andrea Bocelli
“Life is a series of steps.
Things are done gradually.
Once in awhile there is a giant step,
but most of the time we are taking small,
seemingly insignificant steps
on the stairway of life.”
~ Ralph Ransom
“She cast her fragrance and her radiance over me.
I ought never to have run away from her…
I ought to have guessed all the affection
that lay behind her poor little stratagems.
Flowers are so inconsistent!
But I was too young to know how to love her…”
~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry,
The Little Prince
“Even without seeing the crickets,
grasshoppers, cicadas, and katydids,
we hear them shrilling in this season
and trust that they’re the tiny
living gargoyles entomologists claim.”
~ Diane Ackerman
“Everyone wants instant everything, and they want instant success,
but I always think you should
treat things in the Arts
like a garden,
and let them grow.”
~ Penelope Keith
We’ve all heard the saying, “If you want something done, ask a busy person.” (Benjamin Franklin said that.) Now here is a challenge that provides a pleasant diversion from regular posting. It has no thought-provoking questions to answer and no need to dig any deeper than the tip of your tongue. Whether your blog is nutrition, travel, fashion, food, art, poetry, photography, fiction, or non….everyone has quotes that impact them, in my opinion. Perhaps you will take a moment to share those quotes with others by accepting this challenge. It’s really very simple, actually.
I have Gabriel to thank for this well-deserved break. His blog, A Little Me, Apparently at http://gabriel360live.wordpress.com is so surreal. He can transform your imagination from superhero to computer geek to food junky to author. The guy never fails to entertain. And just when you think you caught a glimpse of his soul peeking through, he’ll be as fickle as a cat and take you into a dream world on a thrilling adventure. Don’t take my word for it, go check out The Dark Room yourself. If you dare.
🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
The Rules of this Challenge are:
– Post 1 quote a day for 3 days (can be your own or from other sources).
– Nominate 3 bloggers to participate per post.
– Thank the person who nominated you.

I have Melinda to thank for this well-deserved break. Her blog, http://purpleslobinrecovery.wordpress.com is so interesting. Whether she is organizing, studying, or practicing self-help measures, she seems to look at the glass as “half full”. Take two minutes to ask Melinda about her Very First Place, Home Sweet Home!
