“And now, my beauties, something with poison in it, I think. With poison in it, but attractive to the eye, and soothing to the smell. Poppies…Poppies. Poppies will put them to sleep. Sleeeep. Now they’ll sleeeep!”
– Wicked Witch of the West, Wizard of Oz.
An eerie post, this one. Probably just me.

Confession: it’s one of my favorite movies. 🙂

True story: When I was really young, the two characters that scared the living hell out of me were the girl from The Exorcist (after she was possessed) and the Wicked Witch from The Wizard Of Oz. For the longest time, I’m talking almost a couple of decades, I would never watch those movies. Once I did force myself to watch them again, however, I found them both highly enjoyable in their own way. Margaret Hamilton did a fantabulous job portraying the Wicked Witch.
As for The Exorcist, let’s just say that I now understand what Beetlejuice meant when he said, “I’ve seen The Exorcist about 167 times and it keeps getting funnier every single time I see it!” 😉

We all have a “dark side”. PS. The Exorcist stills scares me. :(. I refuse to watch it.
