It’s slow going. I didn’t get a response for 2 days. Since then, it’s been 24 hours later. I notice if I try to EDIT the post, leaving the date chosen, WP immediately posts it. Frustrating!

That is really frustrating. I think the only thing you can do for now is completing the draft and just publishing it when the time has come… at least until the problem is solved!

Do you ever have the formatting change (such as line breaks) after it is posted? That is part of the problem as well. 😦

That is really strange. No, that did not happen to me yet. There must be some programming issue. But perhaps it is only one simple thing they have to change and all is ok again. I am so sorry, you are having those issues now!
