I vaguely recall a poem about a gray and wrinkled bride being supported by her walker as she waited for her bald and sagging groom coming down the aisle in his wheelchair for their wedding.
The last two lines I do remember:
“This is the couple so rare and so fair
Who waited till they could afford it.” 😁
