Exactly. Right now, Naples is a path for birds migrating north as well as south. Bird-watching groups form to catch the amazing varieties. My husband and I were eating dinner last night when a huge bird flew past the window. I nonchalantly said between bites, “Did you see that Pterodactyl that just flew by the window?” We both cracked up laughing. Evidently, it was a very large flamingo in flight. 🤣🦩
I had to laugh at this one Gail! One day, a large blue heron flew just above and to the front of my car like it was leading me down the highway. I went home and told my husband that the pterodactyls were stalking me…I swear, it looked just like one!
I had the same thing happen on a country road at dawn. Two blue herons swept over the front of my car and I saw them pass through the moon roof. It was awesome!

Maybe their primal brains see the cars as a flock of herons they have to join! It followed me for ages!

I sort of did, one of the flock! Actually, I looked it up, a group of herons is called a scattering or a seige!
