Pretty in Pink Impatiens

“She cast her fragrance and her radiance over me.

I ought never to have run away from her…

I ought to have guessed all the affection

that lay behind her poor little stratagems.

Flowers are so inconsistent!

But I was too young to know how to love her…”

      • Snapshotsincursive, yes indeed the color pink is a delight on flowers. This morning I found a pink poppy in full bloom and it was such a treat for the eyes… Take care and have a wonderful Sunday evening.. from Laura

      • Snapshotsincursive, Indeed mine are since I planted them from seeds in May they are blooming for me at the moment. I believe they are an early spring flower? So, hopefully they will bloom again in early spring.. if you want late blooming poppies, plant the seeds in May or after your last frost and you’ll have poppies blooming in late July and through August… hugs to ya … Take care from Laura πŸ™‚

      • I’ve tried too with store bought poppy plants and never had much luck, until I sprinkled poppy seeds into a barrel and left them alone. They don’t like fertilizer or too much watering. So, abuse them ~ they love it… wink…. and wait for the beauty to appear… hugs from Laura
