I used to collect books and when I’ve finished with them I can give them to someone else to read. Part of the problem with collecting is that when I’m gone I’m leaving all this ‘stuff’ for someone else to find a home for! Thank goodness I collected walking sticks! Now I use them!

I love antiquing! All my furniture and most of my dishes come from both antique and thrift stores.

Very true. I might be old-fashioned, and I can appreciate modern art and décor, but I simply feel comfortable surrounded by lovely old things.
