Actually, Pumpkin was our neighbor’s cat who wandered over every day to be be petted and fed. He disappeared during Covid and never returned. This was taken the last time he visited me. 🥲

Oh, I am so sorry! I know I have three cats who truly believe they live here and visit most days, but they’ve been here only now and then for the past few months. I’ve given them my own kitty names, so I know how attached we can get to these wandering creatures. My sister had a cat who would be gone for a month, come home looking quite fed and happy, stay for a month or so, then leave again. We know he must have had a second home somewhere!
