In India we eat incopper plates. We use copper ‘kalash’ in prayers and rituals.

Lovely photo! I have a nice collection of copper and there are a couple of saute pans that I couldn’t do without. Such good heat conductors. What I don’t love is how quickly they lose their shine and have to be polished again.

I do remember that! It is probably why I have all my copper hanging from a pot rack and hooks where I can see them every day. I remember my mom put up a pegboard in her kitchen just like Julia’s as well. It really was handy!

Try Barkeeper’s Friend instead. It did an outstanding job for us. I use it on all my stainless steel cookware as well copper pieces. 👏

Copper cookware is definitely more costly than stainless steel cookware, which is why I am limited to only a few pieces. I enjoy picking up accent pieces in antique shops. 👀🍃
