It is crazy how fast nature bursts as soon as the temps rise just a bit. We had some warmer weather a week ago and you could almost watch everything peaking out of the ground. Meanwhile it is freezing cold again. I hope there are no damages.

The unusual flower is a “sport” a strange little rose flower that doesn’t resemble the rest of the flowers on the shrub. Some beautiful roses have been bred using a sport that was deemed really lovely, although unlike any of its sisters!

Gorgeous!! I love roses, but not florist ones. They have no aroma!! I ate a rose raised rose petal once. It didn’t taste as good as it smelled! Hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day! I did. ❤

Beautiful. A good backdrop. I grow my pink climbing roses in front of my brick chimney. I have a watercolor in the works right now of one of my favorite spring photos of my roses.
