Close, but no cigar, even for the brilliant and gracious Albert Schweitzer.
The purpose of man “is to glorify God and to delight in Him forever.” (Westminster Shorter Chatechism)
That said, Schweitzer’s idea coincides with Jesus’ pronouncement of the second greatest commandment.
