What’s Cooking in Gail’s Kitchen? Foodstuff Redefined: Thai Peanut Sauce! Known as a popular condiment for skewered meat or seafood in East Asian cuisine, peanut dipping sauce gets all the attention. Homemade Pad Thai is one example. After all, it’s no secret anyone can get addicted to peanut butter. Think about it. We add spicy chili peppers for heat, exotic curry for an earthy taste, coconut milk for authenticity. And depending on the day, there is no substitute for peanut butter and chocolate. Just saying.
THAI PEANUT SAUCE
Ingredients:
1/2 cup natural peanut butter, creamy
3/4 cup coconut milk, unsweetened
1/4 cup agave nectar
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions:
In a food processor, combine peanut butter, coconut milk, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, kosher salt, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pulse until mixture is smooth and creamy. Pour into a jar. Store in the refrigerator.
*Serving Suggestion: Skewered Shrimp with orange wedges and cilantro.
Yummy! Today is my lucky day! This great recipe, and one of our neighbors has just received a Ferrari. For real! As a rule, no more than a maximum of 10,000 euros is volatile here, but now a Ferrari. Its investigation time, Gail! :-)) Have a beautiful weekend! Michael

Yeah. When we were dining at an outdoor restaurant in Florida, we saw so many high end cars drive by: Benz, Jaguars, Lexus, and more. 👀🍃

Yeah! Yes. Jaguar since some years is also a German brand. 😉 If I can ever buy a Jaguar, I would like one of the older vehicles that are still produced under the original brand. They just look a lot better. I recently saw the Porsche Cayenne. It looks like a normal Porsche on stilts. I would be ashamed. 😉 Have a beautiful weekend! Michael

It depends on the ingredient list. Since I live in the country, I try to avoid too many trips into town. 😜🌿

Right. I have to hold myself back or I end up adding a lot of red pepper flakes and green onions. 🤣 Then I end up saying, “Did I make it too hot?” 🍃🌶

This is a sauce that is worth making in quantity I wonder if you could freeze it?

You’re asking a cook who freezes ricotta cheese. 🤣😜 I say YES! 😍

Oh man this is one of my favorite dishes and you have prepared this so beautifully my mouth is watering and I’m calculating whether I should venture out again just to get shrimp! I like it spicy too. Our joke is that I ask my husband if I made a dish too spicy and he says yes, but keeps eating it ravenously!
